Road Trip Wednesday

Road Trip Wednesday is a ‘Blog Carnival,’ where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question that begs to be answered. In the comments, you can hop from destination to destination and get everybody's unique take on the topic.

Today's Question: What is the best book you read in September?

Due to my return to school, and therefore, my decreased Novel Consumption, I would have to say:

my own.

It's beautiful!

I finished the first draft of my novel at the end of August and read it over about the middle of September and it was the best (and only) fiction I read all month.

I really hope next month is not as dry novel-wise.

What was the best book you read in September?

  6. Haha, great answer! Don't feel bad about a slow month. September was the same for me but when real life becomes so chaotic you have to slow down and focus on that. :)

  7. Nice post about Russell Crowe by the way :) That's a good little technique. I also didn't read too much this month, but my favorite was (is/still reading!) Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. Here's my pick for September: http://www.agirlandherdiary.blogspot.com

  14. It is indeed beautiful! I must say, I did nearly the same thing! :) I finished my latest WIP mid-August and just picked it up to reread. :) Isn't it wonderful, when after a long absence, we can revisit our good friends, our characters? :)
